The Yokes are a folk-rock group from Austin, TX 2003. Sitting at the Intersection of the folk revival in Ireland of the 1960's and the songs of the sea from Atlantic Canada,  The Yokes aspire to keep the reverence for traditional folk music alive, while leaning into celtic rock  inspired flair.

Following their first show as a band on St Patrick's Day 2024 at Austin's B.D. Riley's, the band would experience a major boost in momentum in 2025 with residencies throughout Austin at Kelly's Irish Pub and Sweet Sensi Lounge as well as participating in multiple regional festivals including Sherwood Forest Faire, Salado Celtfest, Texas Mead Festival, the Sherwood Celtic Yuletide Festival, and the Austin Celtic Festival.
